In March, the volume of transfers of tokenized shares reached $2.87 billion, a new historical record. In the month, the index increased by more than 80%. The total value of RWA securities came close to $942 million (+2.65% in 30 days), and the number of holders exceeded 200 thousand people, having increased by 16.8%.

The segment’s major assets are held by the Ondo project with $560.9 million in assets. Next come xStocks ($243.5 million) and Securitize ($58.4 million). The most popular tokenized stocks are Circle Internet Group ($143.5 million), Exodus Movement ($58.4 million) and Tesla xStock ($48.8 million).

Most of all RWA is issued on Ethereum (56%, $15.4bn), followed by BNB Chain (12.7%) and Solana (7.27%). The most sought-after asset class is US Treasury bonds, which have a combined value approaching $13 billion.

The market for real assets in cryptocurrencies is increasingly attracting large, traditional players.
