Belarusian products hold a significant share of the meat market in Kazakhstan, accounting for approximately 30% of the total volume of imports in this category.

Kazakhstan imports around 400,000 tons of meat and meat products annually, despite possessing a well-developed domestic production sector that includes beef, horse meat, and poultry. High levels of domestic consumption generate a steady demand for external supplies.

The bulk of exports from Belarus consists of beef—including cuts suitable for steaks—as well as processed products such as sausages, deli meats, and canned goods. Poultry supplies account for a smaller share. Belarusian products are widely available in retail outlets and enjoy consistent demand.

Bilateral trade volumes continue to grow in both monetary and physical terms. Additional opportunities for expanding cooperation are being discussed at the "Belarus Meat" industry forum, which is taking place in Minsk on April 16–17.
