Fake videos of NASA missions spread on social media

Adherents of the theory of the planet’s flat form have found a new "confirmation" of their views in neuronetworks generated rollers. This time, NASA’s "Artemis 2" mission came under attack: fake videos are circulated on social networks that supposedly prove the staged nature of the flight. On one of them, a four-man crew hangs on safety cables in front of the green chromium background, and the picture itself is replete with AI-specific artifacts - distorted text, limb loss, and an unnatural number of fingers.

Another fake shot shows the interior of the ship, where the lens captures all four astronauts, which raises a reasonable question about the operator. Disinformation specialist Tal Hagin confirmed the artificial origin of these materials. Searches like Artemis leaks on Platform X and Facebook reveal an impressive scale of the phenomenon, from images of a butaporian moon in front of a green screen to outright claims that NASA is using computer graphics and AI to mislead the public.

Thus, technologies designed to expand horizons of knowledge paradoxically become a tool for strengthening anti-scientific beliefs.
