Your AI agents can now spend crypto via Trust Wallet

Trust Wallet just enabled AI agents to make payments on their own. The self-custody wallet integrated the x402 payment flow into its AgentKit. The core promise: an AI can spend your funds, but your private keys never leave your possession. No third-party custodians.
What does this mean in reality? Blockchain bots will pay for gas, purchase off-chain data, or call APIs without human intervention. Trust Wallet remains non-custodial — you alone control your seed phrase. According to the team, the wallet already supports over 20,000 EVM-compatible tokens and 63 blockchains, including BTC, ETH, and BNB.
TWT, the governance token, lets holders vote on new features. Now they can also vote on how AI agents may spend their assets. Trust Wallet's official tweet states: "Self-custody doesn't stop when AI enters the loop."
Is it a gimmick or the future? Crypto wallets are a crowded market. AI integration is a bold differentiator. The real question: will users trust bots with their funds?
