In Belarus, the volume of investment in fixed capital for the period of January–February 2026 amounted to 6.5 billion Belarusian rubles. This figure reflects sustained investment activity and the distribution of resources across the country's regions and economic sectors.

The largest share of investments went to the Minsk Region, accounting for 23% of the total volume. Significant investments were also recorded in Minsk (20.9%), the Gomel Region (13.6%), and the Brest Region (13.4%). The Grodno Region accounted for 10.4%, the Vitebsk Region for 9.5%, and the Mogilev Region for 9.2%, indicating a relatively even distribution of capital across the regions.

In terms of investment structure, construction and installation works constituted the largest component, at 46.8%. The acquisition of machinery, equipment, and vehicles accounted for 37.6%, while other expenditures made up another 13.3%. The share of investments in intellectual property assets remains relatively small, at 2.3%.

Regarding sources of financing, private investments predominate, accounting for 53.9% of the total volume. State investments amounted to 40.6%, and foreign investments to 5.6%, demonstrating the dominance of domestic sources of financing.

The current investment structure indicates that the Belarusian economy continues to rely on domestic resources and infrastructure development. At the same time, the relatively low share of investment in intellectual assets may point to potential for further growth in investments in innovation and technology.
