The company Ledger released the document AI Security Roadmap 2026 - a strategy of protection of customers in reality, where independent AI-agents increasingly manage translations and wallets. Former Director-General Ian Rogers was appointed as Chief Human Agency Officer to ensure that a person’s power over his or her means is maintained.

The central idea of the approach is "Agents make suggestions - people sign." The Neurose is free to study market conditions and shape operations, but the final step necessarily requires physical approval on the Ledger gadget. The secret code is never transferred outside of the Secure Element chip and does not enter the agent’s software.

Included in the development program: already open to programmers Device Management Kit for integrating human validation, hardware digital profile fixation (second quarter), mandatory access restrictions at the hardware level (third quarter) and the Proof of Human tool to counter automated logins without private disclosure (fourth quarter).
