South Korean tech giant LG Electronics has developed its own second-tier network based on Arbitrum, which will be the basis for a new platform in digital advertising. The system will allow companies to place, buy and sell advertising directly, excluding intermediaries and automating financial calculations without manual intervention. The initiative leverages resources from LG Ad Solutions, which manages 216 million smart TVs worldwide.
The company has already successfully completed pilot testing of the product together with a Japanese advertising agency and is currently assessing the platform’s value for advertisers and audiences. The official release of the blockchain solution is expected before the end of 2026. As reported, the Arbitrum Network’s (ARB) native token rose by 5% to $0.08.
This step marks the major electronics manufacturer’s entry into the Web3 segment, using a huge hardware base to integrate blockchain into everyday digital advertising. Earlier in January, LG Electronics unveiled a new generation home appliance - the AI robot LG CLOiD - underscoring the company’s strategic focus on developing cutting-edge technological ecosystems.
