Mumpitz Games studio has released the game Sir, We Have an Orc Problem on the Steam digital distribution service, which quickly took the fifteenth place in the ranking of the best-selling projects. In the first day since its release, the project brought two developers more than 360 thousand dollars in net revenue. This financial result contrasts with the team's experience on the previous Tiny Auto Knights title, which took a year and a half to develop, and the final revenue was only $30,000 in nine months. Realizing the low profitability of the previous project, the specialists decided to optimize the workflow and continue development with two people.

A key element of the success of the new game was the implementation of an advanced physical model that allows large-scale clusters of enemy units to be displayed on the screen. The creators were inspired by the Outhold incremental project, but the team focused on the dynamic mechanics of base defense and mass destruction. The prototype was developed over four months, with the focus being on honing the gameplay rather than the visual design. The authors openly admit that the graphical component of the project is done at a modest level, but this did not prevent the game from receiving high marks from the gaming community due to the fascinating gameplay.

The studio's marketing strategy was based on organic promotion and minimal financial investments. The developers demonstrated early versions of the game on social media and at the Steam Next Fest, which allowed them to create an impressive wish list even before the official launch. The only paid element of the promotion was participation in the showcase of Best Indie Games for $ 200. The studio's co-founder noted that the modern independent games industry is going through a period of favorable opportunities, where high-quality gameplay is able to compensate for the lack of large-scale advertising campaigns and a high artistic level.
