The Chinese corporation Alibaba introduced AI tool for video generation Happy Horse, which immediately after its debut was at the top of the industry charts.

New product topped the list of Artificial Analysis in the nomination for the transformation of text description into a video, ahead of Seedance 2.0 from ByteDance. The development was carried out by the newly created Alibaba Token Hub, the product is now being tested in closed mode and the software interface is expected to be available soon.

The sudden breakthrough of Happy Horse sparked heated discussions among Chinese artificial-intelligence specialists and venture capitalists. Previously, Alibaba’s Wan family models rarely made it into the top 20. Video generation remains one of the few areas of AI with a transparent revenue stream.
