The most active AI users have the most mistrust

According to a study by The Verge, those who interact with neural networks more frequently are those who distrust them most. Only 18% of those born between 1997 and 2012 are optimistic about the future of artificial intelligence. Almost half of respondents believe that the disadvantages of technology outweigh the advantages. But 56% still use AI every day - because, as they themselves admit, they simply see no alternative.
The young generation is well aware of neuresets' weaknesses: they tend to concoct facts, "hallucinate," and take risks in developing social and emotional skills if they replace living communication. Young people receive mixed feedback about the use of AI. On one hand, they are told that AI will destroy their careers, but at the same time - that without it, they will not find jobs. Universities receive funding to introduce AI into learning, and teachers see first-hand how students are fooled by such "help."
One participant in the survey skillfully compared AI to fascism: it is clearly harmful in the long run, but hard to reject.
