Between July 27 and August 2, 2026, Strategy sold 1,638 units of bitcoin at an average price of $63,957 per coin, generating total revenue of $104.7 million. This operation was carried out as part of the updated capital management framework, which allows for regular sales of digital assets totaling up to $5.0 billion to optimize the financial structure. As a result, the volume of the organization's cryptocurrency portfolio decreased to 842,138 BTC, which is approximately 4% of the total asset supply. At current market prices, this position is estimated at $52.6 billion, while the total cost of its formation reached $63.51 billion with an average purchase price of $75,419. Consequently, the unrealized loss on the portfolio is about $10.9 billion.
The proceeds were purposefully allocated for the payment of dividends on preferred shares and the repurchase of STRC securities. During the reporting week, the Treasury acquired 912,143 such shares worth $81.2 million. At the same time, the company successfully raised $290.6 million in additional capital through the placement of 3.01 million MSTR class ordinary shares. These measures made it possible to increase the organization's dollar reserve by $250.0 million, bringing its total volume to $4.0 billion. The management also confirmed the retention of the dividend rate on STRC instruments at 12% per annum, noting that there are no plans to reduce this indicator until the market price of shares stabilizes near their nominal value of $ 100.
CEO Fong Le emphasized that the sale of cryptocurrency assets will continue as soon as it becomes commercially feasible, and funds raised through the STRC issue will no longer be automatically directed to the purchase of bitcoin. This structural shift reflects the shift from aggressive accumulation to balanced liquidity management. Against this background, the competing structure of BitMine Immersion Technologies continues to increase its exposure in the second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization, increasing its ether reserves by 10,399 coins to a total volume of 5.7 million ETH. BitMine's total assets are estimated at $11.3 billion, with $9.2 billion of this amount locked in staking, which, according to internal forecasts, will generate annual revenue of $247.0 million with a current seven-day yield of 2.67%.
