Belarusian machine-building companies plan to expand equipment supplies to the Krasnoyarsk Krai in 2026. This includes more than 50 MAZ dump trucks and at least 140 MTZ vehicles. This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Industry Andrei Konyushko at a meeting of the working group on cooperation with the Russian region.

According to him, industrial trade between enterprises under the Belarusian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Krasnoyarsk Krai increased by 20.2% by the end of 2025. Cooperation is being pursued in two directions. Belarusian plants purchase aluminum wheels, pipes, hoses, and other products from the region for their own production needs, and in return supply trucks, passenger vehicles, tractors, and agricultural attachments.

Special attention is being paid to quarry equipment. Over the past three years, 160 BELAZ dump trucks have already been shipped to the Krasnoyarsk Krai, with two more vehicles delivered since the beginning of this year. Approximately 50 more such trucks are planned for delivery to the region by the end of 2026. Concurrently, the launch of a joint assembly of underground self-propelled equipment at the Mikron Design Bureau in Krasnoyarsk is underway. The equipment is currently undergoing evaluation prior to the project's review by Norilsk Nickel's investment committee.

The Belarusian side also hopes to increase the presence of MAZ equipment in the regional market. Minsk offers the Krasnoyarsk Krai buses of various classes, including gas-powered models and accessible vehicles. Furthermore, a wide range of special-purpose trucks, including garbage trucks with steered axles designed for operation in dense urban areas, has been declared.

Cooperation with MTZ also remains a significant area of focus. While 360 tractor units were delivered to Krasnoyarsk Krai last year, at least 140 more are expected in 2026 for the agricultural sector, municipal services, road maintenance, and construction. The Belarusian side emphasizes that it is prepared to provide comprehensive service support along with these deliveries.
