Texas Capital Bancshares announced on Tuesday that two of its exchange-traded funds will move to the Texas Stock Exchange as their primary trading venue starting September 16, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals. Currently, these funds are traded on the NYSE Arca platform, which is part of the New York Stock Exchange group. This transition will be the first primary listing for the Texas Exchange. The tickers and investment strategies of the funds will remain unchanged, representatives of Texas Capital Bancshares emphasized.

The primary listing status means that the Texas Stock Exchange becomes the main platform for trading these instruments. Previously, the new exchange has already attracted a number of secondary listings from various companies. Among the key investors and partners of TXSE are BlackRock, Citadel Securities, and Charles Schwab.

The Texas Stock Exchange began full‑scale trading activities in July of this year. The platform’s management stated that it expects to begin accepting applications for initial public offerings as early as next year. The transition of Texas Capital funds will take place provided that all necessary approvals from regulators are obtained.
