Trade between Belarus and Russia retains significant potential for growth and is still far from its peak. This was stated by Yuri Seliverstov, the Belarusian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, who noted that current figures are not the limit.

By the end of 2025, mutual trade turnover will exceed $50 billion, with exports and imports remaining balanced at approximately $27 billion each. This structure allows for sustainable economic cooperation without imbalances.

Additional growth opportunities lie in the implementation of joint projects. These include developing cooperation in mechanical engineering, creating new production facilities, and producing import-substituting products, including complex technological solutions.

A separate area is the development of the service sector, primarily tourism. Strengthening cooperation in this area is seen as a factor in increasing the industry's contribution to the economy and an additional source of growth in bilateral relations.
