Trade turnover of Russian companies on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) exceeded $1.1 billion.

Trade turnover of Russian companies participating in the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) increased by 9% last year, reaching $1.12 billion, the exchange's press service reported.

A meeting with a delegation from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade was held at the BUCE office. The visit, facilitated by the Russian Trade Mission in Belarus, focused on developing bilateral cooperation, including exchange trading.

Russia remains the exchange's largest partner in terms of transaction value and number of accredited companies. Last year, 620 new Russian entities registered with the BUCE.

Alexander Osmolovsky, Chairman of the Board of the Exchange, noted the importance of expanding cooperation with Russian entities. He stated that regular exchange of information and experience will strengthen trade ties and positively impact trade turnover between the two countries.
