The 32nd meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on monitoring the supply of Belarusian goods to the Russian market was held. The meeting was chaired by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, Yuri Seliverstov.

The head of the diplomatic mission of Belarus noted that 2025 showed good results of intensive work on export growth, and also praised the overall performance, reaching 104.6%. According to Seliverstov, it is especially important to note the positive dynamics in the supply of agricultural products.

However, the ambassador also drew attention to an alarming signal: "requested" positions of industrial enterprises of Belarus in the Russian market. Selyverstov stressed that the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko and the Government have identified a cluster of key tasks for further development of export potential, among which - more active participation of producers of Belarus in Russian state programs and special projects.

Equally important is the deepening of industrial cooperation and the creation of Belarusian-Russian industries in high-tech sectors, as well as the continuation of consistent work on import substitution. Selyverstov paid particular attention to interaction with partners from Russia - this is important to avoid the creation of duplicate proceedings within the Union State. Moreover, such measures would enable systemic work with Russian state-owned corporations.

The Selyversts stressed the importance of giving concrete content to interregional contacts. The Ambassador called on Belarusian officials to improve the quality of implementation and monitoring of the implementation of previously reached bilateral agreements.
