The Shiba Inu community is monitoring a recent transaction in which 125.33 billion SHIB tokens were transferred. This transfer occurred from the wallet of the custodial company BitGo to a new address, the name of which is unknown. According to an analyst from the community, Mazrael, new blockchain data shows that the receiving wallet '0x51580B706d0E84eC9DE947cDeA33c56D616aaA38' now holds 125,334,083,223 SHIB, which is equivalent to approximately $678,000. This address had no transaction history, indicating that it was created specifically for this transfer.
At the same time, the source of these tokens is the custodial wallet BitGo '0xa63e8DdA009E9079124c1E3678F4932BB8061f4d', which represents a well-known multi-signature contract WalletSimple by BitGo. Recently, significant amounts of SHIB were deposited into this wallet: on September 1, 2026, it received 600 billion SHIB, and on September 6, another 408 billion. These transfers were made by two major SHIB token holders, one of whom was known as a 'trillionaire', while the other was referred to as a 'sleeping' whale who became active after three years. As a result, the specific source of the tokens transferred to the new address remains unclear, as they were all consolidated in the BitGo wallet.
The uncertainty in this matter persists, as despite having data on the sending wallet, there is insufficient information about the new wallet. No one has been able to determine a public name or designation for the receiving address. Mazrael noted that all sources classify it as an 'unsigned address'. The receiving wallet continues to hold the entire amount of tokens, which may indicate that the transfer made through the custodial wallet could be intended for asset preservation rather than immediate sale. Nevertheless, there remains the possibility of further asset movements that may occur in the future.
