Samsung has announced native support for stablecoins in its own Samsung Wallet mobile app. The new feature will be available on more than eight hundred million Galaxy smartphones. Users will be able to make payments and store digital assets without using third-party crypto wallets. Product manager Li Dingham emphasized the integration of payments and digital assets in a single ecosystem. Analysts have paid close attention to the scale of the tech giant's potential audience. Joseph Go, Director of Aretha, noted the importance of distribution for the modern crypto market. The expert called this step a key factor for the mass distribution of stablecoins. Solstice co-founder Ben Nadareski also supported this assessment of the strategic decision. The integration of assets into a familiar mobile wallet significantly reduces barriers for new users.

The integration of stablecoins is only part of a larger corporate strategy. Samsung SDS CEO Lee Joon-hee spoke in detail about the strategic investments. The company acquired four percent of the shares of the operator of the largest South Korean stock exchange Upbit. The deal with Dunamu cost the tech giant about four hundred and eight million dollars. Joseph Guo considers this investment to be an important addition to the overall development strategy. Samsung aims to control not only the user interface, but also the technological basis of the ecosystem. The corporation plans to take a strong position in the segment of dollar and dollar stablecoins. Such steps are being carried out at the stage of active formation of the national regulatory framework.

South Korea is currently actively working on the adoption of a law on the fundamentals of digital assets. This document should define clear rules for trading, storing and issuing stablecoins. The exact timing of the final adoption of this important regulatory act remains uncertain. Meanwhile, the outflow of stablecoins from South Korea has been going on for eighteen months in a row. In June, this figure reached three hundred and sixty-seven million dollars. Market participants are closely watching the actions of large technology corporations. The formation of a new payment infrastructure requires considerable time and coordination with regulators. Analysts continue to monitor the impact of mobile wallets on the global distribution of digital assets.
