Ark Invest, managed by Katie Wood, announced the acquisition of shares of Circle Internet Group and SpaceX for a total of more than $ 37 million. The fund acquired 273,343 shares of the USDC stablecoin issuer for $17.3 million (at a closing price of $63.28) through exchange-traded funds ARKK, ARKW and ARKF. As a result, Circle's share in ARKK's portfolio reached 3.68% (about $223.4 million), which fully corresponds to the company's internal strategy, which strictly limits the weight of one asset to 10% of the total fund.

The purchase took place against the background of Circle's positive financial results for the second quarter. On August 4, the company reported revenue growth of 7% to $ 701 million. The volume of the USDC stablecoin in circulation increased by 19%, reaching a record $ 73.3 billion, which confirms the steady institutional demand for dollar-denominated digital assets and the successful integration of the product into traditional finance.

At the same time, Ark Invest acquired 181,830 shares of SpaceX worth almost $20 million through ARKK, ARKQ, ARKW and ARKX funds. Earlier, SpaceX shares declined by 13.61% due to high operating expenses in the second quarter, exceeding $ 18.4 billion. The company's management attributed these costs to the large-scale expansion of opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence. Despite the short-term pressure on margins, Elon Musk maintains ambitious forecasts, expecting the company's annual revenue to reach $1 trillion by 2029-2030.
