The Arkham Intelligence analytical platform recorded a series of transactions worth about $5,000 in bitcoins aimed at historical addresses associated with the creator of the first cryptocurrency, Satoshi Nakamoto. The transfers were initiated through the hot wallets of the Revolut fintech service. According to monitoring data, the sender first conducted several test operations for small amounts, followed by larger transactions, the maximum of which was 0.033 bitcoins, which at the time of execution is equivalent to about 2,170 US dollars.

Identification of the specific person who initiated these transfers is impossible at the current stage. The specialists of the analytical company explain this by the architectural features of the fintech platform, which uses hot wallets to aggregate and process transactions of multiple clients. Such a transaction pooling mechanism does not allow tracking the movement of funds to a specific account owner, which guarantees a high level of sender's privacy within this ecosystem.

This situation has attracted the attention of the community amid ongoing discussions about the amount of unspent assets of the creator of bitcoin. Earlier, Adam Back, a cryptographer and founder of Blockstream, suggested that about 500,000 bitcoins could be stored on Satoshi Nakamoto's wallets. These coins were mined in the early stages of the network's existence and have remained untouched since their creation, making any transactions related to these addresses the object of close attention by market analysts.
