The Arkham Intelligence analytical platform has published a large-scale rating of the hundred largest owners of crypto assets as of mid-2026. This authoritative list includes cryptocurrency exchanges, investment funds, decentralized protocols, as well as government agencies and public corporations. The document clearly demonstrates the current concentration of capital and the distribution of digital assets among key industry players. The undisputed leaders of the rating were the Binance exchange with confirmed assets of 129 billion dollars, the Coinbase platform and the mysterious creator of bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto. The combined asset value of these three participants is approaching the impressive $280 billion mark, which underlines their dominant position in the global market.
It is important to note that analysts did not form this rating for individual crypto wallets, but for entire groups of addresses that are reliably controlled by a single company or individual. This methodological approach makes it possible to estimate the actual amount of resources of individual participants as accurately as possible. In addition to traditional exchanges and custodians, the list includes well-known institutional investors and corporations. Among them are the stablecoin issuer Tether with $ 10 billion, the WhiteBit exchange with $ 8 billion, as well as the World Liberty Financial project, which has accumulated $ 4 billion. Significant positions are also occupied by investment companies ARK Invest and VanEck, as well as the SpaceX space corporation with assets of $ 1 billion.
The presence of the largest decentralized financial protocols in the ranking, such as Aave, MakerDAO, Morpho, Ethena, Curve Finance, Babylon, Jupiter and PancakeSwap, deserves special attention. When evaluating Strategy's assets, analysts took into account only those bitcoins that were officially confirmed by the organization itself. About 184,000 BTC held in Fidelity Custody were excluded from the final calculations to avoid incorrect double counting. Such detailed data helps investors and regulators better understand the real ownership structure of digital assets, separating real reserves from custodial obligations and forming a more transparent picture of the entire crypto market.
