Belarus continues to actively develop agricultural exports and expand its presence in foreign markets. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuri Gorlov, who emphasized that the export geography already covers 117 countries.
The Russian market remains a key destination, but Belarusian products are also confidently gaining a foothold in Asia and Africa. According to the minister, efforts to find new partners are ongoing, and the export map is constantly expanding.
Certain products are even exported to the United States. Among the new promising destinations is Algeria, where Belarusian whole milk powder is in demand. This market is considered a priority given the significant volumes of imported products.
Belarus is also strengthening its position in South and Southeast Asia. Specifically, skim milk powder is exported to Bangladesh, and dairy products are supplied to Malaysia.
The agency emphasizes that further export development is linked to market diversification and strengthening the competitive advantages of Belarusian products.
