Binance Announces Timeline for Resuming HYPE and Five Other Cryptocurrency Withdrawals

Binance announced plans to restore withdrawals for Hyperliquid (HYPE), Litecoin (LTC), and four other cryptocurrencies by the end of next week. Withdrawals were suspended following a $6 billion attack that affected the exchange's operations.

The list of assets for which Binance intends to resume withdrawals also includes Injective (INJ), Aptos (APT), Plasma (PLASMA), and NEAR Protocol (NEAR). The announcement came amid criticism from HYPE holders: the exchange has already restored withdrawals for dozens of other cryptocurrencies, yet Hyperliquid remained the only asset among the top 10 by market capitalization for which this function had not been returned.

Community members are demanding an explanation for the delay, pointing out that the Hyperliquid network itself, in their opinion, was not affected by the attack. Some users also reached out to Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao, accusing the exchange of unfair treatment towards the token.

The delay has led to more serious accusations: some HYPE holders suggest that Binance is deliberately hindering the growth of the asset, which is gaining popularity in the decentralized derivatives market. However, these assumptions are not supported by evidence in the presented material.
