Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange, and MEGA, Kyrgyzstan’s leading telecoms operator, have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement. The partnership aims to develop cryptoecosystem in the republic and expand user access to digital assets. Parties plan to implement initiatives to promote cryptocurrencies, improve financial literacy and create a safe environment for the use of digital financial instruments.

The collaboration involves integrating the Binance technology platform with the MEGA subscriber network. Kirill Khomyakov, who is responsible at Binance for the development of markets in Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa, highlighted the growing demand for digital technologies in Kyrgyzstan. In his view, combining the global experience of the exchange with local coverage by the operator would open up the world of cryptocurrencies to millions of subscribers.

MEGA stated that the partnership with Binance fits into the company’s strategy to expand digital services. The operator expects that joint projects will help to accelerate the formation of a modern financial infrastructure in the country and increase the level of confidence in new technologies.
