Binance to Shut Down Its Mining Pool on November 10, 2026

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the closure of Binance Pool and its associated cryptocurrency mining services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. This decision will end the operation of the mining pool, which has been active for over six years. According to the official statement, Binance will disconnect mining equipment from its pool and deactivate mining endpoints. Customers using Binance Pool should switch to other pools before the shutdown to avoid disruptions. The closure will also affect Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and related APIs.

The closure of the pools is part of the company's ongoing review of its products and services. Miners must complete their transactions and ensure the transfer of equipment to other pools before Binance disconnects connections and stops accepting hash rate. Binance will complete the processing of all outstanding rewards and refunds after the closure, and historical mining records will be stored until November 24, 2026. Users with active positions in Pool Savings should complete any necessary actions before the closure. Information on payments and reward statuses will be available until November 24 of the current year. After this, Binance will close access to pool pages and remove all links to Binance Pool from its main page, although users will be able to temporarily extract some historical information.

Binance Pool was launched in April 2020 and initially supported Bitcoin (BTC) mining. Since then, the platform's offerings have expanded to include various products for miners. In October 2022, Binance offered a $500 million lending initiative for miners, but the content of this program is not discussed in the context of the pool's closure. With the latest changes in services, such as support for Fractal Bitcoin and improvements in mining technology, the closure of the pool marks a significant step in the company's strategy.
