Binance stockholder Changpen Zhao expressed confidence that by 2031, digital currencies and blockchains will become an invisible part of everyday infrastructure - much like today’s unnoticed internet protocols. He believes that symbiosis with artificial intelligence can accelerate the industry’s evolution and increase its value in application.

"I hope that in five years, the crypto will not be talked about more often than they are now about TCP/IP or HTML. We’ll just use it," said Zhao. In his view, the line between classical finance and crypto-assets will begin to blur, producing mixed instruments where a distributed ledger will enter into the basic technological foundation.
