The Binance crypto exchange has reported record growth rates for its bStocks tokenized stock platform, which captured 27 percent of the global market for this segment in just seven weeks after its launch. Total assets under management (AUM) increased from $5.6 million on the first day to more than $599 million, allowing the service to surpass competitor xStocks and take the second place among the largest platforms in the world. The range of available instruments expanded from five to more than 46 tokenized shares during this period, demonstrating an aggressive product line scaling strategy.
Analytical data indicate that the main driver of growth is to attract a fundamentally new audience. About 41.5 percent of the platform's users made their first investment in traditional financial assets through tokenized securities on Binance. Representatives of Generation Z provided 44 percent of all bStocks trading activity, which indicates a high demand for round-the-clock access to global capital markets without the restrictions typical of traditional exchange mechanisms. This demographic structure of users highlights the success of the strategy for integrating classical tools into the crypto ecosystem.
At the same time, Binance confirmed its undisputed leadership in the cryptocurrency derivatives market. According to the CryptoQuant analytical resource, the exchange holds open interest in the amount of $ 22.86 billion in perpetual futures, which is 35 percent of the global figure and more than double the results of its closest competitor. In fact, every third position on this instrument in the world is open on the Binance platform. The concentration of trading capital around the leading players is increasing: the three largest exchanges account for 63 percent of the global open interest, and the top 5 sites account for 81 percent, indicating a high degree of industry consolidation.
