Bitcoin and Ethereum are 3-5% cheaper in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, the value of Bitcoin has fallen by 3.38% to $65,747. Ethereum depreciated more significantly, by 4.87%, to $1879. The negative dynamics of major cryptocurrencies are developing in line with the overall decline in the market for digital assets, as shown by data from the trading platform Binance.

According to CoinMarketCap, the cryptocurrency’s aggregate capitalization is now estimated at $2.26 trillion. Bitcoin accounts for 58.2% ($1.315 trillion), and Ethereum accounts for about 10.1% ($227 billion). Both currencies maintain a leading position, despite the current adjustment.

Coinglass data shows large-scale forced closure of positions in the last 24 hours. Liquidation affected more than 137,000 traders, totaling over $481 million. The bulk of the volume came in long positions ($434 million), with almost half of all liquidations ($224.85 million) related to Bitcoin. The largest single trade in forced closure is listed on HTX with a pair of BTC-USDT, totaling $61.51 million.
