Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs attracted $2.62 billion in a week, showing the best results of 2026

From August 17 to August 21, 2026, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. collectively received $2.62 billion, according to data from SoSoValue. Both segments demonstrated the best weekly results this year, indicating a growing demand for cryptocurrency exchange-traded products.

During the week, capital inflow into spot Bitcoin ETFs amounted to $1.92 billion, setting a record for 2026. Funds flowed in during all five trading sessions, with daily volumes ranging from $189.30 million to $606.29 million. The IBIT fund from BlackRock attracted the most funds, raising $1.33 billion. Significant volumes were also received by FBTC from Fidelity with $293.16 million and ARKB from ARK Invest and 21Shares with $126.84 million. Positive dynamics were shown by BITB, BTC, and MSBT, while HODL from VanEck recorded an outflow of $16.15 million.

Spot Ethereum ETFs attracted $697.18 million over the week, also setting an annual record. Capital inflow into this segment steadily increased throughout most of the reporting period, peaking at $220.77 million. The undisputed leader among Ethereum funds was ETHA from BlackRock, which received $536.83 million. Other market participants, including FETH from Fidelity, ETHB, and ETH from Grayscale, attracted significantly smaller volumes, ranging from $30.26 million to $56.22 million.

Positive dynamics were also demonstrated by exchange-traded funds for other cryptocurrencies. Investors showed the most interest in XRP-ETF and SOL-ETF, which attracted $39.78 million and $28.34 million, respectively. A small inflow was recorded for funds based on LINK, HYPE, AVAX, and DOGE, while the BNB-ETF faced a slight outflow of $0.26 million. This confident growth reversed the trend of the previous week from August 10 to August 14, when there was a capital outflow of over $390 million from spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs.
