Bitcoin Price Surpasses $75,000 Amid $430 Million Outflow from ETFs

On Friday, November 6, 2026, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) recovered above $75,000 after a decline the previous day. At the time of publication by crypto.news, it was approximately $75,830, remaining more than 5% below the level 24 hours earlier. According to Farside Investors, on November 5, the net outflow from U.S. spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on Bitcoin reached $430.2 million.
The drop in BTC coincided with a sell-off in U.S. tech stocks. The Nasdaq Composite lost 5.5%, and the S&P 500 fell by 4.4%, according to the Associated Press. According to the analytical platform CoinGlass, in 24 hours, leveraged positions worth approximately $1.26 billion were liquidated in the crypto market, with about $1.12 billion being long positions.
Outflow from Bitcoin Funds
The day before, ETFs received a net inflow of $74.6 million, but on November 5, the direction of flows changed. Over the first four trading sessions of November, the cumulative net outflow amounted to about $869.8 million. The largest outflow on Thursday was recorded by the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) – $199.9 million after an inflow of $236.7 million on November 4.
From the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) managed by BlackRock, $105 million was withdrawn. Since October 30, the net outflow from it exceeded $1 billion. The Grayscale GBTC, Franklin Templeton EZBC, and VanEck HODL funds lost $49.9 million, $32.9 million, and $23.6 million, respectively.
Exchange Demand and Price Benchmarks
Market observer Rain noted that the 30-day demand indicator from CryptoQuant was around −160,000 BTC, despite the price rising above $85,000 in September and a temporary improvement in demand in early October. Evan Cheolini, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange aggregator SwapSpace, emphasized that the reduction in the issuance of new BTC does not guarantee a price increase by itself, as demand and other market factors are important.
At the time of analysis, the nine-day exponential moving average was at $77,909.73, and the money flow index was at 27.74, below the threshold of 30, which is usually associated with oversold conditions. In the crypto.news material, the nearest support is indicated at $75,300, with the next around $72,000. Holding above $77,900 is considered a condition for a possible move to $80,000.
Analyst Michaël van de Poppe suggested the formation of a price bottom after a decline to $75,000 with the stabilization of the tech sector. Darkfost named $70,000 as a possible level if the $75,000 mark is lost. The realization of these scenarios remains uncertain for now.
