BNB Chain Leads Growth of Real-World Assets with an Increase of $3.62 Billion

BNB Chain added $3.62 billion in real-world assets (RWA) value for the year 2026, placing it first in the blockchain rankings according to CryptoRank. Solana took second place with an increase of $2.66 billion, while Stellar rounded out the top three with a gain of $2.50 billion. Ethereum, despite holding the largest share of RWA, only added $1.6 billion to its assets this year. The total value of RWA on blockchains has exceeded $39 billion, increasing by more than 50% since the beginning of the year.

Data analysis shows that BNB Chain is ahead of Solana by approximately $960 million in RWA growth for 2026. The increase for BNB Chain was around 36% compared to Solana's growth and 45% compared to Stellar. However, CryptoRank does not provide data on initial balances or asset breakdowns for each network, so the figures should be understood as estimates rather than official reports of BNB Chain's revenues or transaction volumes. It is noteworthy that current figures do not indicate that BNB Chain has surpassed Ethereum in total RWA value.

According to CryptoRank, Ethereum, although it ranks fourth in added value, continues to hold the largest share in RWA. Its increase of $1.6 billion is less than half of BNB Chain's growth. Ethereum demonstrates the difference between market size and current growth, as a network with a larger initial balance can remain the largest even while adding fewer funds during this period than smaller competitors. Solana and Stellar continue to show growth and pose a constant challenge to BNB Chain. Moving forward, it will be important to pay attention to the degree of asset changes and potential recalculations of RWA depending on market dynamics and the actions of tokenized asset issuers.
