BNK Investment & Securities and EverTreasure Develop Tokenized Securities

BNK Investment & Securities has signed a strategic agreement with fintech company EverTreasure to develop tokenized securities products and fractional investment opportunities linked to cultural assets. A key part of this agreement is the collaboration to create investment opportunities based on films, musical performances, exhibitions, and other forms of cultural content. The effective date of the new legislation on tokenized securities in South Korea is scheduled for February 4, 2027, highlighting the significance of this partnership in light of upcoming regulatory changes.

Under the agreement, BNK Investment & Securities will play a key role in organizing the issuance of securities, their distribution, and attracting investors, as well as providing advice on regulatory compliance. EverTreasure, in turn, will focus on asset sourcing, ensuring the necessary technological infrastructure, and supporting the platform for tokenized products. EverTreasure is expected to leverage its YEATU platform experience to attract cultural intellectual assets, creating new investment products for institutional investors and high-net-worth private clients. According to recent data, YEATU has already attracted over 260 million won in investments and has more than 10,000 registered participants on the platform, including 6,000 global investors.

BNK Investment & Securities CEO Shin Myung-ho noted that this agreement opens up new opportunities for investors by linking the value of cultural content with financial instruments. "This agreement is a significant starting point for providing investors with new investment opportunities by linking the value of various cultural contents with finance," said Shin. As part of this collaboration, the companies plan to conduct asset evaluations and develop products prior to market launch. BNK continues to develop infrastructure for the tokenized securities market in South Korea by participating in a project to create a joint platform for the issuance of tokenized securities with Koscom and other brokerage firms. The project is launched as part of South Korea's broader initiative to implement tokenized versions of traditional securities for institutional and private investors.
