Bringin Launches Euro Business Accounts for Bitcoin-Using Companies

Bringin has launched a beta version of euro business accounts for companies dealing with Bitcoin and stablecoins. Access to the accounts will be by invitation, and their primary goal is to enable businesses to manage finances using Bitcoin and conduct payments within the SEPA system using a virtual IBAN in the company's name. According to the press release, the consumer platform Bringin has already processed over 15 million euros. Currently, the beta version is available for 15 companies and covers 30 European countries. The main issue Bringin addresses is reducing friction when working with Bitcoin, as many European businesses face restrictions from banks, complicating the use of cryptocurrencies. Travel Rule requirements turn simple payments into paperwork, and each conversion to euros adds complexity.

With Bringin, companies can add Bitcoin to their reserves, accept Bitcoin, Lightning payments, and stablecoins, as well as pay their suppliers and salaries in Bitcoin. This is possible thanks to an infrastructure focused on asset self-custody, allowing companies to control their funds. Keys are generated and stored in a specialized hardware security module, not in shared exchange wallets, and only authorized company owners can move funds, execute payments, and set approval policies. Additional global payment rails are also planned. Furthermore, Bringin plans to integrate APIs and MCP servers for working with AI agents, enabling companies to accept payments from bots, continuing the demonstration of agent payments via the Lightning Network shown in 2025.

Bringin's founder and CEO Prashant Chandrasekar noted: “Bitcoin is the first internet-native money, and Lightning makes it fast enough for everyday commerce. I have seen this potential since 2018 when I started building on it. We proved it first with consumers. Now companies can use Bringin to receive payments, store value, and move money globally, with accounts built around self-custody and a seamless payment experience.” The company builds its infrastructure on the MiCA-authorized infrastructure of Lightspark Payments Europe AS. The pilot version involves 15 companies, including Lightning payment tool developers, mining equipment sellers, and Bitcoin conference organizers, demonstrating the solution's versatility for various business segments.
