Chainlink CEO Nazarov: RWA and institutions could change the outlook for blockchain

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov said that the current phase of development of the crypto industry demonstrates its unprecedented maturity and readiness for integration with traditional finance (TradFi). Unlike previous cycles, which were accompanied by large-scale crashes, the market has shown stability.
Nazarov named the accelerated migration of real-world assets (RWA) to blockchain, which continues regardless of Bitcoin's volatility, as a key driver of change. He noted that on-chain derivatives markets for commodities such as silver are already competing with traditional platforms.
The expert highlighted three transformational trends: the growing value of tokenization for transparency and round-the-clock trading, the entry of institutions into DeFi for technological advantages, and the explosive demand for complex infrastructure to service RWA.
Nazarov made a bold prediction: if the trends continue, the total value of tokenized real-world assets will eventually exceed the capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market.
