Cosmos Token Shows Bullish Momentum Amid Overall Market Decline

In the last 24 hours, Cosmos (ATOM) rose by 3.71%, becoming one of the few crypto assets to show growth. According to CoinMarketCap, the altcoin's trading volume increased by 59% over the day. While the overall market was under pressure due to Bitcoin (BTC) price dropping by 3% from $84,000 to $81,416 on October 22, ATOM also experienced a decline of 1.94% on the same day, but by Friday was already showing positive dynamics.

In terms of price structure, the bearish trend for Cosmos has continued since October 2025, when the low level mark of $3.38 was breached. This became a turning point for the cryptocurrency market, which finally shifted to a bearish trend. In the current structure, the range is set between a low of $1.21 and a high of $2.30. The $2.0 zone has been a supply area since March 2026 and briefly turned into support in May before selling pressure pushed the price down again in June. There is now a possibility that a surge in demand could lift ATOM back to $2.0. However, the CMF indicator is still below +0.05, indicating a lack of significant capital inflows, while the Awesome Oscillator is just slightly below the zero line, suggesting a correction.

On lower timeframes, the bullish momentum helped overcome local resistance at $1.778. A retest of this level could lead to further price growth for ATOM. Despite the recent rise, the CMF indicator remained significantly below +0.05, indicating the fragility of changes in the short term. At the same time, the Awesome Oscillator showed a bullish crossover above the zero line again. The CVD indicator was positive for 90 days in September and October but recently turned neutral. A bullish direction in this metric, combined with stable growth in ATOM's trading volume on exchanges, may indicate real demand and suggest the possibility of a bullish reversal.
