Crypto Assets Rise in Price After Clarity Act Vote Cancellation

Crypto assets demonstrated significant growth after the failure of the Clarity Act in the U.S. Senate. As noted by Ryan Rasmussen, head of research at Bitwise, regulators in the U.S. took three steps towards the industry just a week after this event. In his assessment, the price movements explain what happened better than any comments could.

According to Bitwise Asset Management, NEAR Protocol saw the largest increase, rising by 88.9% from September 15 to September 22, 2026. Zcash (ZEC) increased by 46.7%, while Bitcoin (BTC) rose by 14%. Among first and second layer blockchains, NEAR is followed by Avalanche (AVAX) with 55.5%, Hyperliquid (HYPE) with 26.4%, Lighter (LIT) with 26.1%, XRP with 22.4%, Solana (SOL) with 22.3%, and Ethereum (ETH) with 14.8%.

In the DeFi segment, Uniswap (UNI) emerged as the leader, gaining 60.5%. Ethena (ENA) increased by 55%, Aerodrome (AERO) by 30.2%, and Aave (AAVE) by 21%. In the social trading category, Pump fun (PUMP) rose by 27.5%, while Pons (PONS) increased by 12.2%.

Shares of crypto companies moved more modestly but still in the positive direction. Securitize (SECZ) shares rose by 63.1%, Galaxy (GLXY) by 21.9%, and Coinbase (COIN) by 16.8%. Robinhood (HOOD) gained 12.5%, Figure (FIGR) 11.5%, and Circle (CRCL) 9.6%. The data was compiled by Bitwise from Bloomberg and CoinGecko.
