The US crypto company Binance US has announced a change of management, with CEO Stephen Gregory, known for his expertise in regulatory compliance, taking over.

Upon taking office on March 9, he replaced Norman Reed, who moved to the position of advisor, and in the roster of new head - the management of the Currency com exchange and the directorship positions on the CEX IO and Gemini. Gregory stated that he intended to continue the platform’s development, noting the strength of the Binance brand and the role of founder Chanpen Zhao in promoting the US as a global crypto-capital.

The appointment comes after a challenging period for Binance US: in 2023, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued the exchange for operating without registration, which left the platform unable to conduct dollar transactions for a long time.
