As part of the rebranding, the English name changed from 'D’CENT' to 'DCENT', while the Korean version remained unchanged. The company's new slogan 'Own the Future. With Ease.' reflects DCENT's commitment to empowering users with ownership of their digital assets while reducing the burden associated with their storage and management.
In addition to the name and visual design changes, the rebranding includes an expansion of functional capabilities. Hardware wallets, which were previously used mainly for asset storage, now serve as access points for transaction confirmations, staking, and a host of other digital services. DCENT aims to transform its identity into a brand that provides a comprehensive experience with digital assets, encompassing storage, backup, management, and usage. The key idea of the rebranding is encapsulated in the phrase 'Beyond Storage', signifying DCENT's desire to simplify the entire user journey in the realm of digital assets.
A new product was also introduced — the premium hardware wallet DCENT X, which reflects the new concept through user experience. DCENT X is a cold wallet with a 2.4-inch AMOLED display, allowing users to clearly see what they are signing and confirm it with a single fingerprint. Thus, DCENT expands its product range, offering various options for storage and usage. The company reported that DCENT currently supports over 100 blockchain networks and more than 10,000 tokens, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum, confirming its ambitious goals to broaden the spectrum of services for individual and corporate clients.
