Demand for ETFs for XRP and SOL Dropped by 94% in a Week

Demand for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for XRP and SOL has plummeted: weekly inflows into XRP ETFs fell by 94%, while SOL ETFs saw a 97% drop. The week for XRP ETFs started off well — investors poured in nearly $4 million. However, there was zero movement of funds on Tuesday and Wednesday. On October 1, the funds attracted another $4.07 million, ending a two-day pause, but on Friday recorded $3.28 million in net outflows – the first red day since September 18. As a result, the week ended with $4.74 million in net inflows, which is 94% less than the $75.59 million attracted in the previous week ending September 25. Meanwhile, the streak of green weeks for XRP ETFs has been extended to 12.

SOL ETFs faced an even more significant decline. A week earlier, funds tracking Solana received $188.22 million, but their five-day inflow shrank by more than 97%, totaling just $2.43 million. The week started with $12.70 million on Monday and $5.44 million on Tuesday; however, the inflow on Wednesday was $11.10 million, $5.91 million on Thursday, and only $1.30 million on Friday. This was enough to maintain the weekly series.

The price of XRP bounced off $1.55 twice last week and dipped to $1.45 amid a market correction, after which it began to recover and is fighting for the $1.50 level. Solana rose above $123 mid-week, but by Friday its price fell below $118, and at the time of publication, it had recovered to $129. Thus, the demand for ETFs for XRP and SOL has sharply declined, confirming the current market fluctuations and a significant shift in investor preferences.
