DSRV Becomes Institutional Validator for XDC Network

South Korean company DSRV, specializing in blockchain infrastructure, has become an institutional validator for the XDC Network. For about a month, the organization has been supporting its own node on the mainnet, after which it expanded its participation to directly validate transactions and work on the consensus mechanism. XDC Network is positioned as a blockchain for corporate tasks, including trade finance and digital asset management. Other organizations participating in network validation include HashKey, Deutsche Telekom, Clear Street, and CertiK. The addition of a new validator increases the number of infrastructure operators involved in maintaining the protocol's operation.

DSRV is engaged in creating and maintaining blockchain infrastructure, as well as working with digital assets. The company manages assets worth about 4 trillion won and supports validator nodes in more than 70 blockchain networks. Additionally, DSRV is registered in South Korea as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) with the country's financial intelligence unit. This status allows the company to operate within a regulated digital asset infrastructure, and its experience in servicing a large number of networks enables it to participate in various blockchain consensus models. In the XDC Network, DSRV now performs a similar infrastructure function, ensuring the operation of its own validator on the mainnet.

DSRV's connection to the network was the first practical result of its collaboration with SBI XDC Network APAC, which the companies agreed upon in July. The parties intend to jointly explore the use of blockchain technologies in the business sectors of South Korea and Japan. Among the areas under consideration are trade finance, supply chain management, and asset tokenization. Thus, the collaboration goes beyond technical support for the XDC Network and includes the exploration of corporate blockchain application scenarios. In the future, the companies plan to assess the network's infrastructure capabilities for operations related to traditional business and the digital representation of various assets.
