NASA chief Jared Isaecman announced the crew of "Artemis-3": four astronauts will participate in the flight, including a representative of the European Space Agency. The commander is American Randy Breznik, the pilot is Italian Luca Parmitano from ESA, and the mission specialists will be Frank Rubio and André Douglas. The alternate crew member is Bob Hines.
Unlike the previous mission "Artemis-2", the upcoming flight will take place in near-Earth orbit. His main goal is to work out the use of several launch vehicles (including SpaceX and Blue Origin companies) for the flight and subsequent landing of humans on the moon.
