Further Asset Management Integrates Chainlink for Regulatory Compliance in Abu Dhabi

On October 27, Further Asset Management announced the integration of its compliance platform Anubis with Chainlink's Automated Compliance Engineering. The focus will be on operations with tokenized assets within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The platform will allow jurisdiction-specific rules to be embedded into workflows, helping institutions assess requirements before tokenized assets are transferred. The initial implementation aligns with the expectations of the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
The announcement highlights the importance of automating regulatory compliance to reduce operational burdens, but it requires regulated companies to adhere to a consistent approach. There is also a need for rights and verifiable authenticity of asset rights. Importantly, machine-like rules depend on the accuracy of their legal interpretation, reference data, and update processes.
While the integration is a technical and commercial step, it does not constitute broad legal approval for all products created using it. Investors should distinguish between infrastructure changes and changes in token demand. This means revenue may flow to the company or protocol, but it does not necessarily result in direct benefits for token holders. A primary report on developments is a more reliable foundation than a trading narrative. Currently, it is known that it is necessary to monitor the actual asset workflows and how other regulated companies adopt this model. It is important to separate the scale of the announcement from the actual economic activity that has already occurred.
