Head of Relai predicts end to the bear trend in Bitcoin after ending the AI investment boom

The CEO of Swiss bitcoin broker Relai, Julian Liniger, believes that the bear trend in Bitcoin will end after the phase of large-scale investments in artificial intelligence. In his view, the current weakness of the crypto market is due to the concentration of capital in AI projects such as OpenAI and Anthropic, which reduces the flow of liquidity into digital assets.

Liniger expects this trend to continue at least until the end of next year, as long as the market finances the creation of new AI infrastructure. However, after completing this stage and increasing productivity, the resulting revenues will naturally be returned to Bitcoin. Relai stresses that this is not about the competition between cryptocurrency and AI, but about a temporary reallocation of liquidity within the overall investment cycle.

Lyniger’s optimistic forecasts contrast with current market dynamics. Previously, the market analyst Wintermute reported that Bitcoin has not yet formed a stable price base: demand from large investors remains weak, and ongoing capital outflows from spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to put pressure on the market.
