
BTC reserves on Binance decreased by approximately 23,000 coins (about $1.91 billion) over the week, while ETH reserves dropped by 110,000 (around $292 million). Analyst Amr Taa from CryptoQuant notes that USDT reserves have remained high at around $38.1 billion. The cryptocurrency reserves of the exchange and its dollar liquidity have diverged in the last days of September.
According to CryptoQuant, BTC reserves fell from about 701,000 coins (September 21) to 678,000 coins (September 28) – a loss of around 23,000 BTC, or 3.3% over the week. This erased the recent rise above 700,000 coins. Ethereum followed a similar trajectory: ETH reserves decreased from approximately 3.65 million coins (September 19) to 3.54 million (September 28), meaning about 110,000 ETH, or 3.0% of reserves, were withdrawn from the platform. The simultaneous contraction of these two key assets stands out against USDT: they have not fallen at such rates and remained near $40 billion.
Analyst CryptoOnchain recorded a sharp movement in another part of the reserves. The USDT supply on the Ethereum network decreased by $795.93 million on September 24 – the largest daily drop in a two-week window. On the same day, the USDT volume on the Tron network increased by $249.36 million, the highest daily gain for the same period, while the average net inflow on this network for the week amounted to
