Bitdeer Mined 1,190 Bitcoin in July 2026

Bitdeer Technologies Group reported a record 1,190 Bitcoin mined in July 2026 in its operational report, up 20% from June and 322% higher than the same period last year. According to TheEnergyMag estimates, the company's share of global Bitcoin block rewards exceeded 8.7%, compared to approximately 7.4% the previous month and less than 2% a year ago. Bitdeer's self-mining hashrate grew to approximately 76.7 exahashes per second, while under co-mining agreements the combined figure reached 18.7 exahashes per second. The company attributed the mining growth to the deployment of its proprietary Sealminer rigs.

In August, Bitdeer reached an agreement with Soluna to launch mining operations at a wind energy facility in Texas. The company will install Sealminer A2 Pro Air ASIC miners with a total power consumption of 28 MW. The equipment deployment, expected in September, is projected to add approximately 1.93 exahashes per second to the total hashrate. In parallel, Bitdeer is actively developing its artificial intelligence infrastructure business. The AI Cloud A102 data center in Malaysia, with a capacity of 9.5 MW, is fully contracted under long-term agreements with expected revenue exceeding $800 million. Negotiations are ongoing for the A201 site with 21.7 MW of IT load capacity, and the company expects to receive initial advance payments within a month.

In early August, Bitdeer announced a 16-year agreement for a high-performance computing campus in Tyndall, Norway. The base value of the contract is approximately $4.7 billion, and with a one-time eight-year lease extension, the total value could rise to $8 billion. The 121 MW IT-capacity facility is positioned as fully powered by renewable energy. Such long-term contracts reflect the company's strategic focus on diversifying operations between cryptocurrency mining and providing computing capacity for artificial intelligence workloads.

Bitdeer's data reflects a broader industry trend. In the first six months of 2026, capital expenditures by 15 public Bitcoin miners and AI infrastructure operators reached $30.7 billion, exceeding the full-year 2025 figure by 42.6%. The investment surge is driven by the expansion of computing capacity for both mining and servicing growing demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure, creating additional opportunities for companies capable of efficiently managing energy consumption and scaling operations across multiple jurisdictions.
