LEGO has officially announced the release of a new large-scale designer based on the Harry Potter universe called The Ministry of Magic. The release of this premium set is timed to coincide with a significant date – the 25th anniversary of the release of the first film in the franchise ("Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"). Official sales are scheduled to start on September 1, 2026, and the recommended retail price will be $450, which positions the product in the adult collectible model segment (AFOL).

The designer is characterized by high detail and impressive size: the assembled model occupies 51x35x15 centimeters and consists of 3491 parts. Architecturally, the set is divided into three functional levels, which makes it possible to demonstrate the transition from the Muggle world to the magical one. The lower level carefully recreates a fragment of a London street, including the entrance to the underground station and the iconic red telephone booth, which served as a secret mechanism for access to the Ministry building in the movie.

The thematic basis of the set is based on the key events of the films "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". Inside the model, there are elements for reconstructing several iconic scenes. Among them is Albus Dumbledore's epic duel with Lord Voldemort, as well as a tense confrontation with Death Eaters in the mysterious Department of Mysteries. The developers paid special attention to the interiors: the set reproduces in detail the study of Arthur Weasley, overflowing with Muggle artifacts, and the study of Dolores Umbridge, known for its specific aesthetics with an abundance of pink and decorative plates with images of kittens. An important component of the set are 14 minifigures of characters, which significantly increases the collectible value of the set. Having so many detailed figures allows buyers not only to build a large-scale diorama, but also to act out scenes reflecting the key plot twists of the last parts of the saga. This release continues LEGO's strategy of producing highly detailed, architecturally complex sets dedicated to the anniversaries of iconic film franchises.
