LEGO has announced the release of a new designer from the Icons series, dedicated to the sixtieth anniversary of the Star Trek science fiction franchise. The model called Star Trek: USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge contains a symbolic number of parts equal to 1701 pieces, which is a direct reference to the side number of the legendary spacecraft. This edition became the company's second product under this intellectual property after the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D kit, which was presented to the general public in November 2025. This time, the developers focused their attention not on the exterior of the ship, but on a detailed reconstruction of its iconic interior, recreating the atmosphere of the original television series of the sixties of the last century as accurately as possible.

The design solution of the kit covers two key functional spaces: the command bridge and the transportation compartment. Among the presented elements are computer stations, a conveyor platform and an overview screen, which is complemented by a Klingon warrior minifigure. The engineers applied the modular assembly principle, which provides high flexibility in the placement of the model and allows you to simulate various configurations of the shooting space. In addition, the designer is equipped with three interactive mechanisms: the captain's chair has a rocking function to simulate turbulence, a rotating disk activates the process of transporting figures between platforms, and a special lever controls the opening of the turbolift doors.

The package includes eight detailed minifigures representing the key characters of the classic crew: James Kirk, Spock, Nyota Uhuru, Hikaru Sulu, Leonard McCoy, Pavel Chekhov, Kristin Chapel and Montgomery Scott. The official launch of retail sales of this product is scheduled for September 1, 2026. The cost of the set is set at $199.99, which positions it as an affordable collector's item for a wide audience of franchise fans and design enthusiasts. This approach confirms the brand's strategy of systematically expanding the range of thematic products aimed at the adult demographic group.
