Lighter (LIT) has shown a recovery trend, increasing by 11% and reaching a local high of $4.68 before slightly correcting to $4.55. The altcoin, which previously dropped to $4.00, has once again attracted investor attention amid market activity. Trading volume on the platform increased by 52%, reaching $75 million, indicating heightened interest from both large players and retail investors.
The rise of LIT comes amid growing discussions about regulatory changes for digital assets in the U.S. Analyst Andy noted that Lighter benefits from recent regulatory shifts, as one of the project's associates is involved in an innovation advisory committee. Such participation is perceived by the market as a positive factor for Lighter, as it increases the chances of establishing clearer rules for digital assets. Despite the recovery trend, a major investor (or 'shark') purchased 500,000 LIT for $2.07 million, indicating confidence in the asset's further growth. This has also reignited trader interest: open positions in the derivatives market increased by 13%, reaching $512 million. A 127% rise in derivatives volume was also recorded, indicating high trader activity.
Analysis shows that LIT was able to break through both the 9-day and 21-day moving averages, demonstrating short-term growth. The Stochastic RSI indicator formed a bullish crossover at level 9, which may indicate that buyers are beginning to slightly outpace sellers. However, there is resistance at level 9, suggesting that buyers have not fully taken over the market. If demand for LIT remains, the altcoin could reclaim the $5 level. To achieve this, it needs to hold above the short-term moving average at $4.40.
