On Friday, U.S. futures slightly rose as Wall Street continued to recover from the recent AI-driven sell-off in the tech sector, indicating a positive end to the week. Here are the key movements of the day.
SITE Centers (SITC) +17%. Shares of the retail REIT soared following the announcement of a voluntary delisting of common shares from the New York Stock Exchange, following a special distribution announced by the company on October 15, 2026. The delisting is expected to take effect before the start of trading on December 4, 2026. The company stated that it has not arranged for its shares to be traded on another exchange or platform.
Cohen & Steers (CNS) +7%. Shares rose after posting mixed third-quarter results: total revenue increased by 11% year-over-year. The quarter was supported by a $1.6 billion broad net inflow, the best quarterly result since the fourth quarter of 2021. However, total assets under management closed at $95.9 billion, down 4.2% quarter-over-quarter due to $5.1 billion in market depreciation. Growth was driven by dynamics in private capital channels, including mutual funds, SICAV, and the recently launched Cohen & Steers Real Assets Active ETF (CSRA).
Tesla (TSLA) +5%. Shares gained after Elon Musk unveiled the next-generation Roadster at SpaceX's test facility in Texas. The prototype is equipped with air maneuvering thrusters: during the demonstration, the car performed a barrel roll and jumped over a Tesla Semi. According to Musk, the 0–60 mph acceleration takes 0.81 seconds, and the car could potentially reach Mach 0.5 – approximately 383 mph. Production of the Roadster is planned to begin in 2028; reservations are open with a refundable deposit of $5,000 plus $45,000 within 10 days. Musk described the model as a collaborative effort between Tesla's electric vehicle engineers and SpaceX's rocket technology and suggested that the Roadster might become the only Tesla car with manual control.
