The head of Meta creates his own digital assistant, which allows him to get the information he needs directly, bypassing multistage management chains. As The Wall Street Journal reports with reference to sources, an agent is still in development but already performs a key function: it extracts data without requiring coordination across multiple levels of employees. For a company with nearly 78,000 employees, this is not just a technical innovation, but a signal of structural changes to come.

The Zuckerberg initiative is part of a larger course to implement agent AI tools across Meta. In January, he told investors that 2026 would be a watershed year: artificial intelligence would begin to "change" the way things are done, reducing governance levels and enhancing the role of individual performers. Employees already have access to internal solutions - MyClaw, which gives access to work files and correspondence, and Second Brain based on Claude from Anthropic, which accelerates project processes.

In parallel with the news about a personal AI agent, there have been reports of possible mass layoffs: up to 20% of staff. Meta called it a "presumptive report", refusing to comment on the situation.
